Updated: Fantasy Fishing Results at the Big O

 Day 1 went great except for Fothergill. I almost went with Canterbury or Blaylock in Bucket E. I would have had a dominating Day 1 score if I went with either of those two. I need the kid to get it together and make the cut. Hopefully, he will rally Day 2 Josh Douglas style and put 20 something on the scale tomorrow. He is a bit less than three and a half pounds behind the cut line. I figure 15lbs tomorrow should get him there.

Day 2: The choice of Fothergill destroyed my team. I still have a chance of finishing in the Top 4 in the BBC group if all of my remaining anglers can move up into the top 20 or I hit on the winning weight.

Day 3: Bah! Everybody went backward.

Day 4: Will moved up a couple of spots and missed getting the big bag of the day.

Replaced Martin with Latuso because of the DQ.

If I get more wrong than right this week in the Pick'em Game, I'm flipping a coin to make decisions next time.

Good Day That Don't Mean Jack Squat

 

Not worried about Wheelers, I think there is room to grow in this flight.

When I turned on the coverage in the afternoon, and David Walker was on screen, I knew immediately it was a good sign. The next two guys they went to was B Lat and C. Lane and, shortly after that, Michael Neal.  

I was surprised to be all the way down in 212 Place after Day 1. McCormick killed me being 4lbs back from the average bag. He holds the key to my teams success at this point. If he rallies big and everybody else holds serve, I could easily be in the prizes tomorrow. I am in 9th Place in the  Hellabass League and less than 10lbs from the leader.

As far as I can tell, the "Flight" really only applies to the Bass Pro Tour where I think they will still spit the field for the first 4 competition days. Everybody fishes the first two days on the Tackle Warehouse Tour.

David Pecháček is a young guy from MN that moved to Florida to pursue his bass fishing dreams. This weekend he won the Gator Division Phenoix Big 5 BFL on Lake Okeechobee.

Elite Series Day 4 Lake Okeechobee

Well it's looking like Ish is going to hold on and go wire to wire as Basstrakk has him just under 30lbs.  I was really hoping Lane was gonna do it as he's on my Fantasy squad.  Oh well.

For some reason there doesn't seem to be the War Room today.

I'm guessing Ish is the first  guy to lead a B.A.S.S. tournament for every single second as he weighed first on the first day.
