Cha-Chig!

A solid line-up at Lake Champlain got me the win in the Bass Boat Central Group.

I was also pick-perfect in the Pick 'em Game.

Tenn-Tom Fantasy Line Ups

Day 2: Dang Walters and Cox don't make the cut. I still may have an outside shot at being in the BBC top 4, if Palmer and Atkins finish in the Top 5 , Mosley gets into the teens, and Christie and DollaBill fall out of the hunt on Day 3.

Day 1:

Started Strong And Fade Every Day, Guntersville Fantasy Recap

First day, I started ok. In the 98th percentile and was 1st in the Bass Boat Central group.

Ten percentage point slide thanks to Jordan Lee not catching 'em and falling outside of the cut.

Another ten percentage point slide thanks to Bryan Schmitt falling off a cliff.

Final Results: (A small drop in percentage because of losing out to people with bonus points)

I just cannot keep from picking multiple bottom quintile guys in Drain the Lake

Might as well just flip a coin.

2026 Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing Starts Today At Guntersville

They will be alternating tournaments between no scoping allowed and allowing it. I dropped Trey McKinney and went as chalky as I could get with Cullman, Alabama's own Jordan Lee in Bucket A.  Here is my roster:

For Drain the Lake, I went Alabama-heavy, with Caleb Kuphall as the one exception.  I'm not sure how much long-term planning I'll do with Drain the Lake this year.

BP's Line-Ups for LaCrosse

I thought I had a really good lineup for St. Clair, but it did not turn out that way. Here is to hoping this lineup hits.

I replaced Whitaker with Redwine and Mueller with Gussy. (That last sentence brought to you by Grammerly's AI.)

Bassmaster Fantasy At Tenkiller, My Picks

Posting my picks in hopes my fortunes change. My results haven't been great in the last several tournaments.

Fantasy Bass At the Pasquotank (Updated)

My worst Day 1, so far this season.

I just finished watching the Hellabass pre-tournament video, and some changes were in order from my initial picks. In Bucket B, I chickened out and dropped Ole Bob to go back to Bryan Schmitt. In Bucket C I had Brandon Card, but he is having a tough year sitting in 75th in AOY. Rivet, who I went with, is 20th in AOY. And in Bucket E, I had Arey but went with Wetherall at 0.6% ownership. Alex is inconsistent, but he has gotten a Top 10  finish every year in the Elites. I'm hoping he hits this one out of the park.

2025 Bassmaster Classic Fantasy Fishing Results

Day 1 has me in contention, but I must have Blaylock, J Pow, and Butler all move up on Day 2. J Pow absolutely must make the 25 cut and that is a big ask with the guys around and in front of him. I should have had more faith in Fothergill in Bucket D. E was a crap shoot, and that was what I got.

Update: Day 2 didn't go well. I am done with these recaps.

2025 Bassmaster Classic Fantasy Fishing Lineups

I forgot to change out Powroznik due to Day 1 conditions. I was leaning towards replacing him with Schlapper, with Patrick and Schmitt also being considered.

Updated: Fantasy Fishing Results at the Big O

Day 1 went great except for Fothergill. I almost went with Canterbury or Blaylock in Bucket E. I would have had a dominating Day 1 score if I went with either of those two. I need the kid to get it together and make the cut. Hopefully, he will rally Day 2 Josh Douglas style and put 20 something on the scale tomorrow. He is a bit less than three and a half pounds behind the cut line. I figure 15lbs tomorrow should get him there.

Day 2: The choice of Fothergill destroyed my team. I still have a chance of finishing in the Top 4 in the BBC group if all of my remaining anglers can move up into the top 20 or I hit on the winning weight.

Day 3: Bah! Everybody went backward.

Day 4: Will moved up a couple of spots and missed getting the big bag of the day.

Fantasy Fishing @ The Big O

Anglers I also considered: Canterbury, Blaylock, Palaniuk, Cheesehead Prodigy, Howell, Arey, Benton, Card, Cox, Meyer.

Replaced Martin with Latuso because of the DQ.

If I get more wrong than right this week in the Pick'em Game, I'm flipping a coin to make decisions next time.
