Bass Fishing Archives A Cool New Site

Bass Fishing Archives is a new website that seeks to document the history of the sport.  Pretty Cool! Definitely worth checking out.

Interesting facts: Flipping was first called "Controlled Structure Fishing" and an original title of the B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year was the "Points Scoring Crown."

Check out "Sittin' on the Throne" Funny!

From one of my Hotmail Junk Mail Boxes:
Yeah I know Viagra spam is common but they got my name and nickname correct, Smart Spam Bot.

No I didn't order any.

Or how about this deal on Ebay:

A "Buy It Now" for $14 plus $4 shipping for 1 pack, Are you serious?

Update: I was fooled by the item title, there are actually 4 packs for sale. That makes a lot more sense. Thanks Jeremy!!!

I'm actually gonna bid on this one, now.

Get Them Gobies!!!

You know what they say about payback.
Gobies eat smallmouth bass eggs and out-compete young smallmouth bass for food. The tables turn for smallmouth bass once they reach approximately 2 inches in length. At this size, smallmouth bass begin to eat gobies and smallmouth bass that eat gobies grow twice as fast as those that aren't eating gobies.

This from an article Asian carp aren't only invasive threat to Lake Erie from The News-Messenger.

Hat Tip: Big Indiana Bass Facebook

In Lake Erie do they fish for the mythical Gobie Gone Kenobi?

Edited: Can't do much worse with the HTML than that. Sheesh double screw up when posted.
