I don't know if you went and read the post from last year, but I did see a school with bass, crappies, and sunnies in it. But I couldn't get any of those fish to bite before they moved on to who knows where. I also got bit off by a pike. In my experience around here so far the bass and pike seem to be the most active fish immediately after ice out and so that is what I catch first. Maybe this year will be different.
I got my first open water fish of 2010. My post that day was entitled Wide Open!!!
