The Eden Prairie Eagles won the longest Championship Game in MN High School Hockey history. They beat Duluth East 3-2 on a bit of a lucky own goal off of a Duluth East players skate in the 3rd Overtime. A shot squirted past the goalie into the crease; A Duluth East Player then whiffed on a chance to clear the puck allowing a diving Eden Prairie Player to get his stick on the puck which shot the puck into the goal post which rebounded right into a Duluth East players skate from which the puck deflected into the goal. Definitely a fluke goal.
Congratulations Eden Prairie!!!
