Brandon Palaniuk, Chris Lane, A-Mart, Luke Clausen, Ott Defoe, Brent Ehrler, Paul Elias, Randall Tharp, Scott Martin, Dave Lefebre and Dave Dudley all have Jersey's up for auction this year. Be sure to check it out the auctions all end on Sunday. I'm not sure if there is going to be a second round of auctions or not.
Don't got the cha-ching to put down on a jersey, but want to give to St. Jude's. I recommend giving to either
Jason Holmer or Glenn Walker who are both giving away prizes to their contributors this year. Or also Paul Strege who puts together the auctions.
Holmer is giving away one big prize.
While Walker is giving away several small prizes.

I Won A Custom Jersey From Gemini!
I had the good fortune to win the Gemini Custom Apparel Jersey in The Jerseys For St. Jude drawing. I plan for it to look a lot like my hoodie I got last year in the Jerseys For St. Jude auction last year from Rayjus. Hopefully I'll get it sized a bit better and I won't wear it as much so it stays in good condition.

Bass Pundit Blog Hoodie Jersey Proofs
My blog readers may recall I was the winning bidder for a Rayjus Custom Hoodie in a Jerseys For St. Jude auction.
Last week I got my first set of proofs for the jersey design back and this is what it looked like:

I asked for a few changes and they came back to me with this:

I liked it, so this is what I'm going with.
(click on the pics to enlarge them for a better view)
The Jersey should arrive in 4 to 5 weeks. I'm excited!!!

Winning Bidder Chicken Dinner!
Here's the thing, I would love to have that hoodie but my bid was under $60 and I would think if it had been on an Ebay auction it would have gone for $150 or more. Paul Strege, the guy behind Jersey's for St. Jude gave me a call to let me know I had won and I let him know I didn't feel right about getting the hoodie at the price I bid. So Paul is going to talk with Dave about what to do and the hoodie will probably go up for auction again.
I suppose I could pitch in a bit more money, but my top floor would still be significantly less than I think the hoodie is worth and I really want the maximum amount possible to go to St. Judes.
I'm sure I'll have an update about how things shake out.

It's Official- Bass Pundit Will Be Getting A Tournament Jersey
For about a year now I have been kicking around the idea of getting myself a Bass Pundit Blog themed fishing tournament jersey. I first thought about getting one when I found out about the hoodies made by Gemini Custom Apparel. The problem was G2 Hoodie is more of a cool weather rather than warm weather gear. I wanted a hoodie I could wear in the summertime.
A little while later I discovered a company named Rayjus Outdoors offered a hoodie that would work better in warm weather. Now it just came down to whether or not I wanted to throw down around $100 to get one.
About 2 weeks ago I discovered a custom Rayjus hoodie was coming up in the Jersey for St. Jude Benefit Auction. The fact that I could get a Rayjus hoodie jersey and all the proceeds would go to a worthy charity was the clincher, I was going to bid.
Yes I won the auction!
I have a basic idea about what I want and don't want, hopefully working with Rayjus will go smoothly.

Jersey's For St. Jude Blog

Jerseys for St. Jude is a blog of bass fishing goodness to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospitals. I encourage all Bass Pundit readers to donate a minimum of $25 and get your name in prize giveaway.
Here is the description from the blog:
Jerseys for St. Jude is a fundraising drive to benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This collaborative effort features EBay auctions of autographed tournament jerseys for the biggest names in professional bass fishing. Four to six jerseys will be auctioned each week from late January through February. On EBay, search under “Jerseys for St. Jude” and/or the name of the angler. 100% of the proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The auction is part of the 13th Annual Dick Hiley / St. Jude bass fishing tournament on the Mississippi River in Wabasha, Minnesota. To date, the tournament has raised over $1 Million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
For those wishing to contribute to St. Jude and become part of this wonderful effort, donations can be made directly at: Jersey's For St. Jude. For every $25 donation, an entry will be placed in a drawing for many great prizes!
Here's some of the Jersey's up for Auction:
