tommorrow is Spring
I just love red wing blackbirds. They provide the background noise to so many places I fish, especially in the Springtime when the males are singing for a hook up. I can't say that I have seen any robbins yet, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they were around.

I am with you on these birds. When I was a kid my family would force our 14' aluminum boat into a small river outlet from a lake we fished back in Michigan. It always involved two oars pushing off cattails and overhanging brush while dad held the 5 horse just barely tilted into the water. Once we forced our way back into an opening we were always greeted by a male redwing blackbird who never seemed pleased with us being there. Every time I hear one now I think of that hole and the Northerns we would catch out of it.
