I'm glad you found it interesting. I'm trying to figure out if other states do this of if Illinois is pioneering. Normally Illinois doesn't pioneer in anything, they just replicate what other governments do. Does Minnesota have a high school fishing tournament?
Clif, you need to read your own stories a little closer. Illinois is the pioneer state in bringing tournament bass fishing to high school extra curricular activities.
The college level is where there is bass tournament competitions in multiple states.
